The 9th Annual Arkansas Environmental Policy Summit (“Summit”) will be held on November 8th in Conway, Arkansas.
The Summit will be held at Hendrix College from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The Summit is described as a one-day event:
…designed to bring together activists, regulators, elected officials, students, academics, experts, and others to discuss our state's most pressing environmental issues.
The keynote is a panel presentation. It will feature the Arkansas Tri-Region Climate Pollution Reduction Grant Coalition. The Coalition was recently selected for a $100 million EPA CPRG award for its "Energy and Environment Innovation for the Natural State" proposal.
The presenters on the panel will include:
- Tim Conklin- Executive Director, Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission.
- Bernadette Rhodes- Senior Regional Planner, Metroplan.
- Joshua Robertson- Director of Sustainability and Citizen Services, City of Fort Smith.
