NORMATIVE UPDATES-

• Law No. 15,075/2024 was sanctioned, seeking to encourage the shipbuilding industry and create jobs in Brazil. Among other provisions, this law provides for accelerated depreciation for tankers manufactured in national shipyards and used in cabotage, thus reducing the tax burden of benefited companies.
