California: Cal/OSHA Transitions to Electronic Case Management

California employers will soon be able electronically manage California Occupational Safety and Health Appeals Board ("OSHAB") cases. After finalizing procedural revisions to the Cal/OSHA appeals process earlier this summer, OSHAB will go live with the electronic OSHAB Appeals Scheduling and Information System ("OASIS") on October 3, 2016. See 8 C.C.R. §§ 346 et seq. The new system will allow an employer to electronically file an appeal of Cal/OSHA citations, schedule hearings, and request a continuance, among other functions....
