The EPA has announced an interim final rule adjusting the PFAS reporting requirements under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). The new reporting period will commence on April 13, 2026, and conclude on October 13, 2026. For small manufacturers reporting as article importers, the deadline to finish reporting is extended to April 13, 2027. Initially, the reporting rule was set to start on July 11, 2025, but the EPA has postponed it to allow additional time for preparation in the reporting application process.

For further details on the rule and affected organizations, please refer to our previous client alert: EPA Extends PFAS Reporting Deadline to January 11, 2026.
