Join us for an engaging morning of learning and connection over coffee and light breakfast!

Did you know Columbus was once known as "Arch City"? This name, brought to life by the historic arches spanning High Street, has become an enduring symbol of our city’s drive to connect and inspire.

In the spirit of these connections, Bricker Graydon invites you to join our new “Arch City AI Series”—a quarterly event bringing together Columbus’s business leaders and top voices in artificial intelligence. Each session will highlight AI insights that drive real-world impact for businesses, with perspectives on harnessing AI’s potential while minimizing associated risks. During this program, we will explore how AI is transforming industries and share insights on how Columbus-based companies can navigate this rapidly advancing field.

JANUARY’S FEATURED SPEAKER

We’re thrilled to kick off our series with Dennis Hirsch. Dennis is a Professor of Law and of Computer Science at The Ohio State University. He is a recognized expert on the law, policy, and governance of advanced analytics and AI and serves as Faculty Director of the OSU Program on Data and Governance. Professor Hirsch is a member of the OECD Expert Group on AI Risk and Accountability and the Advisory Board for the IAPP’s AI Governance Center. He teaches a course on The Governance of AI: Law, Ethics, Technology, and Management, was the Principal Investigator for an Ohio State research study of business data ethics management, and leads a working group for organizations interested in data ethics and AI governance.

AGENDA

  • 8:30 - 9:00 AM: Arrival and refreshments

  • 9:00 - 9:30 AM: Program and discussion

To our public sector clients and friends: As you are aware, Ohio's ethics laws prohibit us from giving certain public officials gifts, including food and beverages, of a "substantial value." We estimate that the cost of food and beverage at this event will be approximately $15 per person. While we do not consider this amount to be substantial, we understand that some jurisdictions or individuals may have adopted a more definitive or stringent policy regarding gifts and meals.
