On June 5, the FDIC released an updated list of state nonmember banks that received CRA evaluation ratings assigned in March 2025. The CRA mandates that the FDIC assess and rate how well banks meet the credit needs of their community, including low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, in a manner consistent with safe and sound operations. The FDIC rated 66 banks in March, 63 of which were rated “satisfactory,” two of which were rated “outstanding,” and one was rated “needs to improve.”
