Updates represent the most major changes to HSR filings in the last 48 years.
Update (February 4): The FTC Premerger Notification Office posted a notice confirming again that the new HSR rules will be effective as of Monday, February 10. Unless a court or Congress takes action before the end of the week (which, at this point, seems unlikely), it appears the effective date will hold. This means that the last day to submit an HSR filing under the current system is February 7.
