According to these sources, on May 9, 2025, ION completed its investigation into a data security incident. Evidently, the incident resulted in unauthorized access to patient information that was stored in email and SharePoint accounts. The period of unauthorized access was between December 13, 2024 and December 16, 2024.
After learning that sensitive consumer data was accessible to an unauthorized party, Integrated Oncology Network reviewed the compromised files to determine what information was leaked and which consumers were impacted.
