  • Nevada Treasurer Zach Conine announced he is running for the Democratic nomination for AG. He is the first candidate to announce his intention to run for AG to replace AG Aaron Ford, who is term-limited.
  • New Jersey AG Matthew Platkin announced the appointment of Bureau of Securities Chief Elizabeth M. Harris as Acting Director of the Division of Consumer Affairs.
  • South Carolina AG Alan Wilson appointed Thomas Hydrick as Solicitor General, Joseph Spate as Deputy SG, and J. Emory Smith as General Counsel. Hydrick and Spate previously served as Assistant Deputy SGs, and Smith previously served as Deputy SG.
  • Virginia AG Jason Miyares appointed Ryan Ferguson as Chief of Staff, and he will continue to serve as General Counsel; Shaun Kenney as Senior Advisor; and Chloe Smith as Director of Communications. Ferguson previously served as Director of Administration, Kenney previously served as Director of Communications, and Smith previously served as Deputy Director of Communications and Press Secretary.
