On January 16, the OCC released a list of recent enforcement actions against national banks, federal savings associations, and institution-affiliated parties (IAPs) which include bank directors, officers, employees and controlling shareholders. The OCC issued one cease and desist order against a large bank for alleged unsafe or unsound practices relating to the bank’s BSA/AML and sanctions compliance programs. The OCC also released nine enforcement actions against IAPs.
