On March 20, the OCC released a list of recent enforcement actions taken against national banks, federal savings associations, and individuals affiliated with supervised banks. Among the actions taken, the OCC issued a cease and desist order against a bank for unsafe or unsound banking practices related to interest rate risk and strategic planning, while terminating a previous order initiated against the same bank in 2017. Additionally, the OCC issued orders of prohibition against two individuals for unauthorized transactions and for misappropriating funds. The OCC also terminated enforcement actions against two banks, citing compliance with previous orders addressing issues in their BSA/AML program and loss mitigation activities.
