  • Texas AG Ken Paxton settled with WK Kellogg Co. (Kellogg’s) to resolve allegations that the company misrepresented whether its products contained artificial dyes and preservatives in violation of state consumer protection laws.
  • As a result of the settlement, Kellogg’s agreed to remove artificial food colorings from its cereals by the end of 2027.
  • We have previously reported on AG Paxton’s other efforts to remove dyes from foods, including a settlement with General Mills, Inc. to remove dyes from its cereals and foods.
