In the United States the Accelerating Deployment of Versatile, Advanced Nuclear for Clean Energy Act (ADVANCE Act) was a major milestone, created to streamline regulatory processes and accelerate the deployment of advanced nuclear technologies. The extension of the Price-Anderson Act also reinforced long-term industry stability, ensuring continued liability protections for commercial reactors and US Department of Energy (DOE) contractors through 2065.
