HEADLINES
- The House plans to consider the annual defense policy bill, as Congress works to finish legislative business for this year by next week.
- President Joe Biden will participate in a virtual G7 meeting.
- President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet nominees are continuing meetings with senators as they seek their votes for confirmation.
HOUSE
- The House will hold floor votes tomorrow through Thursday, taking up the annual National Defense Authorization Act.
- House Republicans and Democrats will choose their committee leaders for the 119th Congress.
- Tomorrow, the Oversight and Accountability Committee will hold an oversight hearing with Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.

SENATE
- The Senate will be in session today through Thursday, continuing votes to confirm Biden’s judicial nominees.
- Wednesday, the Banking Committee will hold a hearing on consumer protection with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra.
- Also Wednesday, the Commerce Subcommittee on Communications, Media and Broadband will hold a hearing on network security.

WHITE HOUSE
- Biden will speak this afternoon at a Tribal Nations Summit at the Interior Department then host a Holiday Ball this evening at the White House for members of Congress.
- Tomorrow, he will speak at a Christmas for All Dinner in celebration of Unity, America, and Special Olympics.
- Biden will participate in a virtual G7 meeting on Friday.
