HEADLINES
- Republicans remain in intense negotiations in the hopes of passing their sweeping reconciliation legislation through the House before next week’s Memorial Day recess.
- President Donald Trump plans to speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

HOUSE
- The House is scheduled to be in session tonight through Thursday, though leadership has threatened to keep lawmakers in Washington until their One Big Beautiful Bill is approved.
- Officials testifying at budget hearings include Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin and Chairman Paul Atkins of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
- The Energy and Commerce Subcommittee on Commerce, Manufacturing, and Trade will hold a hearing Wednesday on artificial intelligence regulation.

SENATE
- The Senate plans to take up landmark cryptocurrency legislation.
- A busy slate of budget hearings in the Senate includes Zeldin, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr.
- The Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee will hold a hearing Wednesday on the state of higher education.

WHITE HOUSE
- Today, Trump plans to speak by phone with both Putin and Zelensky.
- Wednesday, he will host South African President Cyril Ramaphosa at the White House.
- Saturday, he will deliver the commencement address at West Point.
