A year ago, the three of us covered the landscape of “modern attachments” but since then we’ve been correctly persuaded to address them as “hyperlinked files.” We’re talking about those curious links to dynamic files and documents stored in Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, and elsewhere that pose such delightful but distracting questions about how to collect, review, and produce them.
