Lisa Evenson is a certified eDiscovery specialist and seasoned paralegal with over 30 years of experience in litigation, known for her expertise in managing complex, multi-party legal matters. As Manager of eDiscovery and Legal Technology at JFK Law, she leads the firm’s technology initiatives and ensures cutting-edge, efficient solutions for clients. Lisa also serves as President of the Vancouver Chapter of ACEDS, where she champions education, certification, and advocacy in the eDiscovery field. Her dedication to the profession is reflected in her active volunteer work with legal organizations, helping to foster growth and innovation across the industry. Widely respected for her leadership and technical acumen, Lisa continues to shape the future of legal technology and discovery.
Kathy Dallaire
Kathy Dallaire is the eDiscovery Specialist and Litigation Support Coordinator at the Montréal office of Stikeman, Elliott, LLP. She is responsible for managing electronic discovery cases, advising case teams on appropriate, cost-effective and defensible strategies throughout the eDiscovery lifecycle including preservation, data collection, early case assessment, investigation, document review, production and trial presentation.
She partners with the case team and develops review protocols and workflows tailored to unique matter requirements ensuring that client and matter deadlines are met. Kathy has extensive trial experience, including assisting at trial in large complex litigations, managing evidence and assisting the case team with witness and trial preparation.
Terry Laukkanen
In the Legal Project Solutions Group at Deloitte, Terry Laukkanen runs teams that accomplish time-consuming and resource-intensive legal tasks efficiently using artificial intelligence, robotic process automation, eDiscovery platforms, and legal process outsourcing. Terry is a recognized eDiscovery expert, a certified Project Management and IAPP certified privacy professional who graduated from the University of Manitoba with a J.D. in Law and the University of Toronto with an Hon. B.A. in Ethics, Society, and Law. Prior to joining Deloitte, Terry ran his own solo legal practice, Terrence Laukkanen Law.
Sarah Trask
Sarah Trask is the Manager of Advocacy Paralegals at Stewart McKelvey, where she has been with the firm since 2007. With a background in document management, Sarah developed a strong interest in eDiscovery, initially supporting a lawyer specializing in the field before becoming a paralegal herself. She went on to establish and lead the firm’s Litigation Support Department, focusing on eDiscovery training, processes, and oversight. A Certified eDiscovery Specialist (ACEDS), Sarah now manages a team of Advocacy Paralegals in multiple offices and is spearheading the development of a specialized group dedicated to digital preservation and the collection of social media and digital evidence.

With nearly two decades of experience in legal and eDiscovery, Tiana is a recognized leader known for her expertise in AI, analytics, and strategic business leadership.
