The Office of the Insurance Commissioner (“OIC”) issued its West Virginia Insurance Bulletin 21-02 discouraging carriers against marketing the sale of “full coverage” automobile insurance policies.  Because the term “full coverage” is not defined in West Virginia, the OIC cautions that its use could be misleading or confusing. Please consider sharing this Bulletin with agents and those in your marketing department responsible for sales in West Virginia.
