INTERPOL uses several types of notices, each of which has a specific purpose. For example, a Yellow Notice is for missing people, a Green Notice is for people who may present the risk of committing certain types of crimes again, a Blue Notice is for people who are wanted for investigation purposes, and a Red Notice, probably the most popular, is for people who are wanted for prosecution or to serve a sentence.
