Practice/Organization Description
Founded in 1994 by Len Suzio, GeoDataVision has provided Financial Institutions with world class expert advice regarding Community Reinvestment Act and Fair Lending matters.
Aside from the in-depth regulatory compliance experience of our staff, an aspect of GeoDataVision services that distinguishes us from virtually every other consulting firm is the ultra-sophisticated application of Geographic Information Science, “GIS” (computerized mapping) that allows us to create market pictures for our clients. Financial institutions can visualize their assessment areas and markets in eye-opening color-theme maps.
With GIS it’s now possible to see where “Majority-Minority” tracts and low- and moderate-income tracts are located within your assessment areas and to overlay those maps with your loan data, competitor data, and other relevant factors any compliance professional would want to integrate into computer-generated maps.
Mr. Suzio, a graduate of the Wharton School, has more than 50 years of banking experience. In 1983 he was named Connecticut's “Banker of the Year” by the SBA, and he testified that same year in front of the United States Senate Subcommittee as an expert on small business finance.
Mr. Suzio’s 50 years of banking experience is complemented by a staff of former examiners with a combined total of 100 years regulatory compliance background and a staff of cartographers who have developed leading edge maps targeted to meet the needs of our clients for regulatory compliance and market analysis.
GeoDataVision has recently introduced Climate Risk services using its Climate Risk Meter™ technology. Based on data collected by FEMA and other federal agencies and universities GeoDataVision now offers maps that identify and quantify risk related to a group of 18 natural hazards.
We invite compliance and marketing professionals to visit our website or contact us to arrange a demonstration of online live interactive maps, market reports, and consulting services.
